This is the story of a young man who brings meat from Iga,
the land of ninjas, to the world.
This mockumentary film was produced by Kenta Moriwaki, the eldest son of the long-established restaurant “Sumibi-yaki Sanyu” in Nabari City, Mie Prefecture, based on his passionate desire to introduce Iga beef to the world, and was produced by covering every detail of the restaurant.
STORY
Kenta, a young Japanese heir to the famous “Sandayu” restaurant in Nabari, Mie Prefecture, wants to make his father’s fame as a chef known throughout the world. With this passion, an American director, Bob, and a Chinese actress, Liu, begin to produce a documentary film. Kenta is moved through interactions with various people in Iga and Nabari, and plans to organize a world- class meat festival, but his plans are frustrated by his lack of ability. Eventually, he and his father develop a steak sauce for overseas consumption. He chooses a simple and steady path and decides to take up the challenge of his dream again.

Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1978. During his childhood, his parents, burdened by debt, ran away in the middle of the night, and he lived in extreme poverty in a rural area of Kyoto.
After graduating from university, he worked as an assistant manager at a soba restaurant in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture.A few years later, frustrated with the lack of excitement in his life, he moved to Tokyo and joined a video production company.While working in the television industry, he became deeply involved in variety and informational shows, eventually immersing himself in travel and food programs, contributing to many productions.
In 2017, his self-produced short film “YAKINIKU “ went viral, starting from an online news article.
The innovative video, which features no actors and simply shows meat being grilled continuously, was featured on various TV stations and praised on overseas news programs, with commentators calling it “crazy” and “a uniquely Japanese concept.”
This work marks his first feature film as part of the video production collective FMS, following the success of his previous projects.

He has produced various genres of films, TV, animation, drama, commercials, corporate VPs, variety shows, music programs, music clips, game shows, and event distribution, as well as produced live broadcasts and live distribution.
Together with director SHUN J SAKO Jr, he directed an independent short film “Meat Burns” in 2017, which created a buzz mainly in Asia, but after being told by film companies in various countries that it could not be shown in theaters unless it was a feature film, he took full responsibility and produced his first feature film “NINJA BEEF”.

A shocking theme song befitting a shocking film was introduced.
The band's distinctive Japanese EDM sound is characterized by a combination of Japanese-style enka-style singing and loud, rhythmic tones.
The song was written by mirai kodai Z, who has provided songs for anime, games and VTuber with over 10 million views, and produced by DJ29MEAT, who is active worldwide as an anisong DJ. The jacket is by Kazuki Amanoi-Watt Ohfuka, a well-known subculture creator, and sung by Masahiro Murota, the actor who sings the theme song for the netflix drama “Sanctuary”.
